COD Baseball wraps up regular season chasing off the Huskies, 3-1

COD (26-14) ended the regular season with Sophomore Night honoring 8 players and grabbing a win on the back half of a non-Conference home-at-home series against the East Los Angeles Huskies of Monterey Park (18-22), 3-1.

College of the Desert Baseball honored their eight sophomore athletes as they concluded the 2022 season. Those honored tonight were: Taisei Yamada, Dalton Thomas, Jaxon Millet, Taishin Matsushita, Dominic LeBlanc, Kenny Keller, Elvis Farina, Jr. and Dillon Baker.

After another Conference loss by San Bernardino Valley, your College of the Desert Baseball team are the sole IEAC Champions.

The Roadrunners await the results of the CCCAA SoCal Regional Playoffs seeding meeting on the late afternoon of Sunday, May 1st to find out where they will be traveling for the opening round of the playoffs. The playoffs are a "Best of 3" scenario, the first game is played on Friday, May 6 and a winner-take-all game is played on the morning of Saturday, May 7, where the "road" team will be listed as the "home" team. If necessary, there could be an elimination game three later that day. All contests are nine innings, including the potential elimination double header.

State Playoffs Ticket Prices are as follows: General Admission is $12. Faculty, Staff, Children Under 12, Adults 60+ & Students w/ Valid A.S. card are $8.
