COD Football freshman running back Kamone Best (Goldsboro (NC) Eastern Wayne) has been named as an honorable mention selection of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference's (PCAC) Male Athlete of the Week for the week of October 17th.

This is the first season of competition in the PCAC for COD. 

According to the release, issued by PCAC Sports Information Director, Tom Saxe, "Best, rushed for 164 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries in COD's 30-13 American Division Mountain Conference victory over Mt. San Jacinto. He also had two pass receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown."
