COD Football: Hamilton signs with Texas Southern University

COD Football sophomore Aulsondro Hamilton (Moreno Valley Vista Del Lago) has signed a letter of intent with the Texas Southern University Tigers.

The 6-4, 250 pound defensive lineman from Vista Del Lago High School in Moreno Valley collected a total of 19 tackles, 22 assists, 5 sacks and 10 tackles-for-a-loss, on the 2018 season. Hamilton played a single season for the Roadrunners before being called up to the four-year level. His best game was at home on October 6th, against LA Harbor, where he grabbed 4 tackles, 8 assists, and 2.5 sacks.

The Texas Southern University is located in the city of Houston and has 9,200 students enrolled in their over 100 undergraduate and graduate programs. The football team is coached by first year head coach Clarence McKinney. The Tigers are a Division I program which competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference and finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 2-9.
