SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - College of the Desert men's basketball competed in this past weekend's San Bernardino Hunter Classic, dropping a pair of games to LA Pierce, 119-85, and El Camino-Compton Center, 107-78.

In their loss to LA Pierce, freshman guard William Brown (Animo Los Angeles HS) led the way with 20 points on 8-15 shooting.  Freshman guard Greg Hodgdon (Terra Linda HS) also scored in double-figures for the Roadrunners, as he netted 10 points.  

Brown again led COD in their game with El Camino-Compton Center, as he scored 18 points, recorded nine rebounds and dished out five assists. Freshman forward Kameron Dashner (La Quinta HS) added 15 points, while sophomore guard Cody Ryman (Rancho Cucamonga HS) had 11.

College of the Desert (1-5) next hosts Citrus on Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m.
