SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. -- College of the Desert men's basketball fell in a pair of Foothill Conference matchups this week, as they were beaten 95-55 by Chaffey before coming up short against San Bernardino, 117-82.

Freshman guard Gabe Solache was stellar in the loss to Chaffey, scoring 29 points on 7-15 (46.6 percent) shooting.  He was also 6-7 (85.7 percent) from three-point range, while also knocking down nine free throws.

Sophomore forward Zach Waites led the Roadrunner charge against San Bernardino, scoring 26 points while collecting five rebounds.  Freshman guard Kenny Lewis was also in double-figures for COD, scoring 15 points off the bench.

College of the Desert (5-19, 0-7) returns home this Wednesday for 5 p.m. against visiting Rio Hondo.
