PALM DESERT, Calif. -- College of the Desert men's basketball sophomore Cody Ryman (Rancho Cucamonga HS) has signed his letter of intent to play at NAIA member University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico.  

Ryman averaged 3.2 points per game, while shooting 32 percent from three-point range.  "Cody had two strong years for the Roadrunners," said assistant coach Ken Simonds.  "He is a solid defender and shoots the three at a good percentage."

Ryman also possesses a strong on-the-floor acumen, a trait that was echoed by Simonds.  "Cody has a great knowledge of the game which allows him to make great decisions and compete at a high level."

Ryman will be continuing his academic future by studying Sports Administration and Science.
