COD Men’s Basketball has a hard time with the Wolverines, 91-63

COD (4-20; 1-7) received a 22-point performance from Dajuan "Slim" Fulgham, to lead all scorers, but a second half quick pressure defense by the #4 team in the state, the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines (23-5; 8-0) proved tough to overcome, as the Roadrunners fell, 91-63.

The Roadrunners kept the game close in the early going, taking a 20-17 lead, but then San Bernardino Valley would go on a 29-3 run and put the game out of reach. By halftime the Wolverines had taken a 50-28 lead.

Dajuan Fulgham, the sophomore Montevallo, Alabama native, led all scorers with 22 points on 8 of 13 shooting and was a deadly 4 of 6 from three-point range, leading the team in steals and blocks with three each. Tonight's three blocks by Fulgham, puts him in 5th place in the state in total blocks with 52.

Sophomore starting guard Kenny Lewis (Riverside Ramona) added 11 points on 4 of 6 shooting and led the team in rebounds and assists, with six each.

Freshman guard Philippe Salawa (Fontana Azariel Blanchard Miller) came off of the bench to add 9 points on 3 of 14 shooting on the night.
