COD Men's Golf takes 2nd in Rancho Mirage, Clark ties for 1st

COD finished second, at their ninth PCAC match of 2019, held at the 72-par, S Resort in Rancho Mirage.

Desert sent 6 players to compete in their second to last conference match of the 2019 season, where they finished in second place with a team score of 392 points, 14 points behind Palomar. 

Sophomore Jordan Clark (Poway H.S.) led the way for the Roadrunners as he tied for first with a score of two-over 74. Collecting the second-best score of the event, freshman Josh Lumgair (Calgary (AB) Academy) shot a four-over 72.

Sophomore Michael Choma (La Quinta H.S.) posted six-over 78 as sophomore Clement Heurtin (Nantes (FR) NDTA) finished right behind, grabbing a seven-over 79.

Finishing off the day for the Roadrunners, sophomore Maxime Faure (Deauville (FR) Lycee Andre Malraux) shot a 13-over 85 and freshman Bailey Spivak (Palm Desert H.S.) came in with a 15-over 87.

COD will make their next appearance at the Los Seranos Golf Course in beautiful Chino Hills, for the last PCAC event of 2019, on Monday, April 22.
