Golf Management Program

The Coachella Valley is home to more than 100 golf courses, and every one of them has one thing in common (besides the obvious): Jobs!

Golf is one of the most rapidly growing recreational activities in the U.S., and the number of courses has grown dramatically. Golf courses need qualified personnel to direct the operation and maintenance of their courses. Training is vital, and at COD our program is taught and advised by PGA professionals.

For nearly 20 years, COD, strategically situated in the golf course capital of the west, has offered a unique golf management program and a related turf grass management program. Degrees and certificates are offered and graduates go on to work in an exciting, dynamic industry.

Where Your Drive Really Pays Off

The Golf Management and Turf Grass Management Programs are a part of the College's Business and Hospitality Industries Division. Courses of study have been established for students who wish to either meet occupational and business qualifications (Certificate Program) or for those who wish to meet lower division requirements for transfer to a four-year college or university (Associate's Degree). You do not have to play on the college golf team in order to be a part of the program.
