PALM DESERT, Calif. - After entering the half tied 1-1. College of the Desert men's soccer surrendered three straight goals to San Bernardino en route to falling 4-1 in Tuesday afternoon's Foothill Conference matchup in Palm Desert.
The Roadrunners jumped in front in the game's 11th minute, as freshman Brandon Montano (Palm Springs, CA/Palm Springs HS) finished a nice cross from fellow freshman, Edgar Duran (Palm Springs, CA/Palm Springs HS).
Freshman goalkeeper Jorge Sepulveda (Cathedral City, CA/Cathedral City HS) kept the match close throughout, making nine saves, one of which was on a penalty kick just before halftime.
College of the Desert (1-10, 0-2) returns to action this Friday, October 16 when they travel to St. Katherine College for a 3 p.m. match.
