COD Men’s Soccer has a hard time with the Coyotes, 6-0

COD (3-11-2; 3-8-1) could not get going in their Pacific Coast Athletic Conference game, with only six shots the visiting defense was stifling as the Roadrunners fell to the El Cajon Cuyamaca Coyotes (7-4-6; 7-2-4), 6-0.

The Coyotes and Roadrunners played to a stalemate throughout most of the first half, then in the 33rd minute, Cuyamaca would score their first of three goals in the first half, taking a 3-0 lead at the break.

The visitors would equal that three goal effort in the second half, as the Coyotes took the game 6-0.

Freshman goal keeper Daniel Rivera (Palm Desert H.S.) made nine huge saves as he was peppered with 24 total shots, including 14 on goal in the loss.
