COD Men’s Cross Country finishes 13th at Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational

COD ran in their sixth event of the 2018 season at Mt. San Antonio in Walnut for the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational, where the team finished 13th overall on the 4-mile course.

The Roadrunners finished with 394 points, grabbing the top spot for Desert at Mt. SAC was sophomore Christian Cardoza (Cathedral City H.S.), collecting a 69th place finish and a time of 26:19.

Freshman Joseph Oropeza (Rancho Mirage H.S.) finished 78th, collecting a time of 27:50, and closely after Bryan Hinojosa (Indio H.S.) crossed the finish line at 27:54, well enough for 80th place. Freshman Bronn Olson (Palm Desert H.S.) grabbed an 82nd place finish with a time of 28:37.

Sophomore Miguel Espinola (Palm Desert H.S.) took 88th with a time of 34:01 and freshman Guillermo Blanco (Rancho Mirage H.S.) wrapped up the event for the Roadrunners finishing 92nd collecting a time of 39:05.
