COD Men’s Cross Country finishes 7th in Mt. SAC Invitational

COD Men’s Cross Country finishes 7th in Mt. SAC Invitational

Desert entered their 7th event at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut for the Mt. SAC Invitational where the team finished 7th.

The Roadrunners finished with 185 points and crossing the line first for COD was freshman Leonel Benitez (La Quinta Summit) in 44th place with a time of 24:37.628.

Right behind Benitez was freshman Dominick Jahnig (La Quinta, H.S.) crossing the line in 47th place with a time of 24:49.5. Sophomore David Hernandez (La Quinta, H.S.) finished the race in 49th place with a time of 24:54.6.

Freshman Esahi Bravo (Indio H.S.) finished the race in 61st place with a time of 26:00.1 and sophomore Joseph Oropeza (Rancho Mirage H.S.) crossed the line in 71st place with a time of 26:57.3. Freshman Ezequiel Alvarez (Thermal Coachella Valley) finished the race with a time of 27:15.4.

Sophomore Bronn Olson (Palm Desert H.S.) crossed the line with a time of 28:22.6 and freshman Albert Salomon (Rancho Mirage H.S.) crossed with a time of 28:56.6. Finishing the race for the Roadrunners was sophomore Guillermo Blanco (Rancho Mirage H.S.) with a time of 34:23.0.
