COD Men’s Cross Country finishes 16th in Brubaker Invitational

COD entered their 6th event of the 2019 season Irvine Regional Park at Orange for the in Brubaker Invitational where they finished 16th.

Desert finished with 444 points. Crossing the line first for the Roadrunners was freshman Dominick Jahnig (La Quinta, H.S.) in 65th place, with a time of 23:08.50.

Finishing behind him was freshman Leonel Benitez (La Quinta Summit) in 87th place, with a time of 24:18.87. Freshman Esahi Bravo (Indio, H.S) finished the race in 95th place, with a time of 24:54.75.

Sophomore David Hernandez (La Quinta, H.S.) in 97nd place, with a time of 25:09.71. and right on Olson's heels was freshman Ezequiel Alvarez (Thermal Coachella Valley) in 103rd place, with a time of 26:57.48.

Finishing the race with a time of 28:48.13 was sophomore Bronn Olson (Palm Desert H.S.) and crossing the line after him was freshman Sebastian Melendres (Palm Desert H.S.) with a time of 30:02.48. Wrapping up the race for Desert was sophomore Guillermo Blanco (Rancho Mirage H.S..) with a time of 34:18.73.
