PALM DESERT, Calif. -- College of the Desert softball sophomores Brianna Alcorn (Indio HS) and Kalen Gopperton (Cajon HS) have been named to the Foothill All-Conference teams.  Alcorn received First-Team honors, while Gopperton was named to the Second-Team.

Alcorn led the Lady Roadrunners in batting average (.370), hits (37), runs (16) and stolen bases (4), while tying for the team lead with one home run-- an inside-the-park blast in the team's opening game against Imperial Valley back on January 28.  

Gopperton led COD in RBI (16), triples (6), doubles (5) and slugging percentage (.517), while ranking second in batting average (.292).  She also collected 26 hits and belted one home run.
