COD Softball celebrates Sophomore Day

COD (9-23; 2-14) celebrated their Sophomore Day, as they hosted the final home game of the 2018 season, falling to the Southwestern Jaguars (24-12; 11-4), 20-1 in 5 innings.

The Roadrunners honored sophomore second baseman Saki Hirata (Tokushima (Japan) Joto), sophomore third baseman Rebecca Alford (Thermal Coachella Valley) and sophomore short stop Jada Toland (Indio Shadow Hills) at the conclusion of the game.

Next game for College of the Desert Softball will be the final contest of the 2018 season, as the Roadrunners travel to Rancho Cucamonga to take on the Chaffey Panthers on Wednesday, April 25th at 3 p.m. Hope to see you there.
