Freshman right-handed pitcher Lauren Robinson named to 3FCA All-California Team, first Roadrunner since 2015 to receive state honors.

COD (18-16) guaranteed themselves their first above .500 finish since the 2014 season, after knocking off the Victor Valley Rams (5-27), 7-2.

COD Softball freshman right handed starting pitcher Lauren Robinson (La Quinta H.S.) was named the California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association (3CFCA) Player of the Week for Week 8.
COD Softball fights hard in 5 inning loss to #6 Comets, 21-1
April 17, 2019
COD (17-16; 8-7) put a run across in the first and then remained hitless until the fifth as the Palomar Comets of San Marcos (29-5; 13-1) proved why they are the #6 team in the State, defeating the Roadrunners, 21-1 in 5 innings.
COD Softball walks-off in extras, sweeps Arabs, 6-5

COD (14-13; 5-5) moved back above .500 for the season as they grabbed a come from behind walk-off win in the ninth inning, sweeping the season series with the Imperial Valley Arabs (6-14; 3-9) in the same week, 6-5.

COD Softball freshman right handed starting pitcher Lauren Robinson (La Quinta H.S.) was named the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference’s (PCAC) Female Athlete of the Month for the month of March.
COD Softball splits doubleheader with the Monarchs, 7-6 & 14-4

COD (11-10) won a hotly contested, extra inning game in game one, then was mercied in game two as the Roadrunners won game one of the doubleheader, 7-6 then fell to the Los Angeles Valley Monarchs (16-8) in six innings, 14-4 in game two.

COD (9-7) got back on track with a come from behind win in game one and a lop sided hit parade in game two, as the Roadrunners took both games of a Saturday double header over the Cerro Coso Coyotes of Ridgecrest (1-13), 10-9 and 14-1.
COD Softball: Alcorn has perfect day at the plate, falls to Olympians, 4-2

COD (7-7; 2-1) received a great day at the plate from several players, but Briana Alcorn was 4 for 4 on the afternoon and the team would load the bases in the bottom of the seventh, but only got one run across home plate as the Roadrunners fell to the San Diego Mesa Olympians (12-5; 3-1), 4-2.
COD Softball drops pair to the Raiders, 11-9 & 7-0

COD (7-6) got behind early in game one and clawed back to get close and then faced a four hit shutout in game two, as the Roadrunners dropped a double header to the Moorpark Raiders (9-7), 11-9 and 7-0.

COD (7-4; 2-0) grabbed another key victory over a Conference opponent, defeating the Grossmont Griffins (1-7; 0-2) for the first time since 2014, 5-1.

COD (6-2) matched their best start since the 2014 season with a sweep at the “COD Tri” where the Roadrunners defeated the Glendale Vaqueros (1-6-1) and the Golden West Rustlers of Huntington Beach (2-7), 7-5 and 12-4.

COD (4-2; 1-0) opened up Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC) play by grabbing their first victory over the Southwestern Jaguars (3-4; 0-1) since 2014, 6-1.

COD (3-1) finally got back onto the field after 2 weeks of rainouts, hosting the Saddleback Gauchos of Mission Viejo (3-4) in a doubleheader and winning both games, 6-2 and 3-2.

COD (1-1) had to side step some scheduling issues and ended up playing a Conference foe in the second game of the season, but that didn’t keep the Roadrunners from rolling over the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines (0-6), 11-5.

COD (0-1) opened up 2019 at home, falling in a hard fought five inning loss to the visiting Chaffey Panthers of Rancho Cucamonga (1-1), 10-0.
