Women's Golf Takes Fourth in Desert Classic

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - College of the Desert women's golf earned their second fourth-place finish as they competed in the Desert Classic in Palm Springs.

Freshman Kabrea Rosas (La Quinta, CA / La Quinta HS) led the way for COD, as she shot 77 and 75 over the two days.  Sophomore Fumika Matsumoto (Japan / Chiba-Ketzai) shot 78 and 76, while freshman Yi Chen Tsai (Taiwan / Oversea) also shot well with a 79 and 86.

College of the Desert returns to the course Wednesday, September 9 for 12 p.m. Orange Empire Conference match in El Cajon.
