COSTA MESA, Calif. - College of the Desert women's golf has been very consistent so far this season, and  they continued that trend by finishing second in their Orange Empire Conference match Wednesday in Costa Mesa.  

The Lady Roadrunners, who came up just two strokes short of Mt. San Antonio, were led by sophomore Fumika Matsumoto's (Japan/Chiba-Ketzai HS) round of 79.  Freshman Yi Chen Tsai (Taiwan/Oversea HS) shot an 82, while fellow freshman, Kabrea Rosas (La Quinta, CA/La Quinta HS), added an 85.  Freshman Nadia Herrera (La Quinta, CA/La Quinta HS) completed the Desert participants, shooting a 94.

College of the Desert returns to the links Wednesday, October 7 for an Orange Empire Conference match in Chino.  Tee time is set for 11 a.m.
