COD Women’s Golf wins at San Clemente, Desert sweeps top four

All four PCAC teams participated in this event, with the Roadrunners scoring 325 points and capturing first place as a team by 60 strokes taking the top four spots individually.

COD Women's Golf participated in their 13th event of the 2018 season, with freshman Dagmar Urbankova (Brno, Czech Republic) leading the way taking first for the second time this season with 4-over par 76, as Desert completed the PCAC regular season undefeated.

Desert sent five participants to its final conference event on the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC) calendar, which was hosted at the par-72 San Clemente Municipal Golf Course, in San Clemente.

Collecting second individually, sophomore Zoe Walker (Palm Desert Xavier Prep) scored a 10-over 82 while sophomore Natalie Brugler (Santa Cruz Soquel) finished right behind, shooting an 83 and taking third individually.

Finishing the top four for individuals was freshman Lilyanna Rodriguez (Palm Desert H.S) who turned in an 84 and sophomore Vivica Garcia (Thermal Coachella Valley) wrapped up the day for the Roadrunners shooting a 96.

The Roadrunners will be appearing in the first round of the PCAC Finals, at Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning on Monday, October 29.
