COD Women’s Golf continues to roll as they remain undefeated in Conference

COD continues to roll, as sophomore Lilyanna Rodriguez (Palm Desert H.S.) resumed her dominance on the course, winning the individual title by shooting one-over 75, helping the team collect their seventh straight win in OEC play. 

The Roadrunners sent five participants to its tenth event, which was hosted at the par-74 Los Seranos Golf Course in Chino Hills. Desert would finish with 338 points, eight strokes ahead of the second place finisher, the Mt San Antonio Mounties.

Freshman Raegan Preece (Imperial H.S.) shot an 86, helping the Roadrunners continue their impressive streak in their new Conference and twin sister, freshman Morgan Preece (Imperial H.S.) shot an 88.

Also contributing to the Roadrunners seventh straight win was freshman Maddie Jones (Palm Desert H.S.) who shot an 89 and freshman Isabelle Smith (Indio Shadow Hills) who shot one of her best round of the season, a 104.

COD will make their next appearance at the Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (Oak Glen Course) in El Cajon on October 7th at 12 pm.
