COD Women’s Soccer: Doyle signs with Northwest Christian

COD Women's Soccer sophomore Taylor Doyle (La Quinta H.S.) has signed with the Northwest Christian Beacons.

Two-year Roadrunner, Taylor Doyle was selected to the All-PCAC-North team for her 2018 performance. She started in 19 games and collected four assists on the season. Her best game was on October 2nd, at Imperial Valley where Doyle contributed two assists in Desert's 6-1 victory. Doyle played a key role in some notable victories in 2018 as the Roadrunners defeated the Miramar Jets for the first time in program history.

Under fourth-year head coach Garret Estrin, Desert finished the regular season with a record 9-8-3 overall and 5-3-2 in conference. The Roadrunners placed 2nd in the PCAC-North Division, collecting the most overall wins since 1999.

Northwest Christian is located in Eugene, Oregon and was first established in 1859 as the Eugene Divinity School. The Beacons compete in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, a conference within the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Northwest Christian finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 4-11-1 and a record of 3-7-1 in conference play.
