COD Women’s Cross Country finishes 4th in Mt. SAC Invitational

Desert entered their 7th event of the 2019 season at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut for the Mt. SAC Invitational where the team finished 4th.

Roadrunners finished with 92 points and crossing the line first was sophomore Naibe Ruelas (Indio H.S.) in 11th place with a time of 20:47.3.

Sophomore Jasmin Gallegos (Indio Shadow Hills) finished the race in 19th place, with a time of 21:17.5. Freshman Stephany Ramirez-Lopez (Cathedral City H.S.) crossed the line in 35th place with a time of 23:17.9 and freshman Natalia Johnson (Indio Shadow Hills) finished the race in 40th place with a time of 24:07.4.

Crossing the line next for COD was freshman Christina Peters (Cathedral City H.S.) in 53rd place with a time of 27:28.5 and sophomore Gladys Blanco (Rancho Mirage H.S.) finished the race with a time of 31:09.2.
