COD Men's Golf takes 2nd in San Diego, Lumgair ties third overall

COD Men's Golf traveled to the 72 par, Torrey Pines North Golf course in San Diego, finishing in 2nd place out of five teams.

Desert sent six athletes to compete in their third Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match of the 2019 season, taking second with a total of 391 points, only 10 strokes behind winner and conference leader, Palomar.

With the best performance of the event for the Roadrunners, freshman Josh Lumgair (Calgary (AB) Academy) collected an impressive 4-over 76, tying for third overall.

Finishing right behind Lugmair, freshman Chase Cadwallader (Palm Desert H.S) scored a 5-over 77 and sophomore Clement Heurtin (Nantes (FR) NDTA) finished with a 6-over 78.

Both sophomore Maxime Faure (Deauville (FR) Lycee Andre Malraux) and sophomore Jordan Clark (Poway H.S.) shot an 8-over 80. Wrapping up the day for Desert, sophomore Michael Choma (La Quinta H.S.) scored a 9-over 81.

COD will make their next appearance at the Gary Player Golf Course in Rancho Mirage, for thier first home PCAC match of 2019, March 20th.
