COD Men's Tennis knocks off Palomar, 7-2

COD (12-1; 10-0) continued their reign of PCAC, by knocking off the Palomar Comets (2-10; 2-7), 7-2.

In doubles play for the Roadrunners, freshman Manfred Vogt (Mexico City (MX), freshman Saar Rogovski (Rosh HaAyin (ISR) Menachem Begin), and freshman Nicolas Garcia (Palm Desert H.S.) each blanked the Comets, winning 6-0 and 6-0. Continuing the momentum for Desert, sophomore Kalman Boyd (Solana Beach Fusian Academy) and freshman Alex Kuperstein (Palm Desert H.S.) had one ball pass them by, as they won in two sets, 6-0 and 6-1. The last singles match went to Palomar since Desert was unable to field a player.

In doubles play for the Roadrunners, the team of Boyd and Kuperstein overwhelmed the Comets, winning 8-0. The team of Garcia and Rogovski wrapped up the event for Desert, winning 8-2. In the last match for doubles play, the Roadrunners were unable to field a team, so the Comets took the match victory.

The next match for College of the Desert Men's Tennis will be in Imperial Valley, against the Imperial Valley College Arabs on April 2nd at 2p, where they will continue Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play.
