COD Men’s Cross Country finishes 13th at Brubaker Invitational

COD ran in their fifth event of the 2018 season at Irvine Regional Park in Orange for the Brubaker Invitational, where the team finished 13th overall on the 4-mile course.

The Roadrunners finished with 422 points, grabbing the top spot for Desert in Orange was sophomore Christian Cardoza (Cathedral City H.S.), collecting an 77th place finish and a time of 25:44.

Freshman Joseph Oropeza (Rancho Mirage H.S.) finished 84th, collecting a time of 27:35, and freshman Bronn Olson (Palm Desert H.S.) crossed the finish line at 28:15, well enough for 85th place. Freshman Bryan Hinojosa (Indio H.S.) grabbed an 86th place finish with a time of 29:47.

Sophomore Miguel Espinola (Palm Desert H.S.) and freshman Guillermo Blanco (Rancho Mirage H.S.) wrapped up the event for the Roadrunners finishing 90th and 91th respectively on the afternoon.
