COD Men’s Cross Country finishes 7th at PCAC Finals

COD ran in their final team event of the 2018 season at California State University, San Bernardino for the Pacific Coast Conference Championship, where the team finished seventh overall on the 4-mile course.

The Roadrunners finished with 192 points, grabbing the top spot for Desert at the PCAC Finals was sophomore Christian Cardoza (Cathedral City H.S.), with a 34th place finish and a 2018 season best time of 25:19.

Freshman Bronn Olson (Palm Desert H.S.) finished 37th, collecting a time of 25:59 dropping his previous best by 52 seconds.

Freshman Joseph Oropeza (Rancho Mirage H.S.) crossed the finish line at 27:05 taking a 39th place finish as freshman Bryan Hinojosa (Indio H.S.) finished close behind grabbing a 40th place finish with a time of 27:07.

Sophomore Miguel Espinola (Palm Desert H.S.) took 42nd with a time of 30:26 and freshman Guillermo Blanco (Rancho Mirage H.S.) wrapped up the event for the Roadrunners finishing 46th collecting a time of 38:04.
