COD Men’s Cross Country finishes 22nd at the SoCal Regionals

Desert competed for the SoCal Regional Championship at Mission Bay Park in San Diego where the team finished in 22nd place.

The Roadrunners finished with 646 points and crossing the line first for Desert was freshman Leonel Benitez (La Quinta Summit) in 102nd place, with a time of 23:32.8.

Freshman Dominick Jahnig (La Quinta, H.S.) crossed the line in 128th place, with a time of 24:21.9 and right behind him was sophomore David Hernandez (La Quinta, H.S.) in 131st place, with a time of 24:28.6.

Freshman Esahi Bravo (Indio H.S.) finished the race in 168th place, with a time of 26:37.1 and sophomore Bronn Olson (Palm Desert H.S.) crossed the line in 171st place, with a time of 27:25.0.

Wrapping up the race for Desert was freshman Ezequiel Alvarez (Thermal Coachella Valley) with a time of 27:55.2.
