COD began a new chapter as they hosted their first Orange Empire Conference event in program history, grabbing the win in brutally hot conditions.

Sophomore Lilyanna Rodriguez (Palm Desert H.S.) and freshman Raegan Preece (Imperial H.S.) led the way for the Roadrunners, both shooting a strong seven-over 79 and tying for third place on the day.

Freshman Morgan Preece (Imperial H.S.) shot a ten-over 82 and freshman Maddie Jones (Palm Desert H.S.) shot an 88. Freshman Isabelle Smith (Indio Shadow Hills) shot a 103 to wrap up the very hot day.

COD will make their next appearance at The Country Club at Soboba Springs in San Jacinto on Monday, September 9 as they continue the Orange Empire Conference play.
