The Eagles would score in the 75th minute to equalize. The remainder of the 2nd half was back and forth and could have gone either on a fairly windy afternoon in Menifee. Defensively, Desert had some solid help on the back-line with freshman forward Jaidah Martin (Rancho Mirage H.S.), freshman defender Yesenia Torres (Thermal Desert Mirage), sophomore defender Fernanda Rodriguez (Thermal Coachella Valley), sophomore defender Taylor Doyle (La Quinta H.S.) and freshman defender Delaney Hall (Palm Desert H.S.) contributing to the hard nosed defense.
