Helen Estrin
Volunteer Assistant

Helen Estrin, has been serving as a volunteer Assistant Coach since the 2015 season at College of the Desert, and adjunct starting in Fall of 2021. She has been assisting with recruiting, scouting, pre-season and post season scheduling among her duties. Her resume includes, serving as a soccer club team administrator for several different club programs & working for Bank of America for 23 years. Estrin grew up in Cathedral City, CA and attended Palm Springs High School where she was a varsity cheerleader.

After high school, Estrin attended CSU Dominguez Hills and was an avid supporter of the Men's and Women's Soccer programs. She attended Division I and II NCAA Men's and Women's Finals, and countless other CCAA (California Collegiate Athletic Association), and NCAA Division II soccer matches. Helen has been a strong supporter of the Red, White & Blue as well attending numerous US National Team games, both Men & Women, in 2015 Helen enjoyed attending the final tune – up match for the 2015 Women's World Cup and including a USA World Cup game vs Nigeria in Vancouver BC.

After completing a Business Marketing degree, Coach Estrin continued to work with Bank of America until 2015 when she joined Desert Sands Unified School District as an administrator assistant. She has also spent time volunteering with the National Charity League from 2014 to 2020 (Palm Springs Chapter). Helen is married with two children, a daughter in college, and son in elementary school.
