Congratulations to Arissa Gonzalez from softball and Se Min Song from men's golf for earning the College of the Desert March Student Athletes of the Month honors.

Softball freshman first baseman/right-handed starting pitcher Arissa Gonzalez from Coachella Valley H.S. in Thermal, had six multi-hit games in the month of March, including a career high 5 for 5 day on March 2 in a win on the back-half of a double header at Taft. Gonzalez currently leads the team in batting average and hits.

Men's Golf sophomore Se Min Song (nicknamed "Sam") from Changwon Nam H.S. in Haeundae-gu, South Korea, had a great month on the course, shooting 79 or lower in 5 of 6 events, including a season low 73 at Costa Mesa Country Club (Los Lagos Course) in Costa Mesa on March 27.
