COD Beach Volleyball will send the team of Tyler Davis and Alexis Dempsey to the CCCAA Final Pairs Championship, which begins on May 13th at Irvine Valley College.

State Playoffs Ticket Prices are as follows: General Admission is $12. Faculty, Staff, Children Under 12, Adults 60+ & Students w/ Valid A.S. card are $8. There are no guest passes allowed.

The Desert 1's team of freshman Tyler Davis (Palm Desert Xavier College Prep) and freshman Alexis Dempsey (Palm Springs H.S.) will be the sole Roadrunners representative at the CCCAA Championship, going 20-4 of the course of the season, posting the best winning percentage for Desert this past season.

There are two "waves" of play, a morning wave and an afternoon wave, each with four individual pools featuring four pairs teams each. The North features 12 pairs teams and the South has 20. Each pairs team will play three contests on day one, with the top two teams from each pool advancing to Day Two.

The team of Davis/Dempsey taking their #9 seed from the South, opening up play attempting to knock off a giant, the top seed from the South, a pairs team from the Orange Coast Pirates. Once that match concludes the Roadrunners will face the #8 seed from the North, a pairs team from the Feather River Golden Eagles and their final morning match will be taking on the #20 seed from the South, another pairs team from the Orange Coast Pirates.
