COD Baseball: LeBlanc & Thomas sign letters of intent

COD Baseball freshman right handed pitcher Dominic LeBlanc (Yuba City River Valley) and sophomore second baseman Dalton Thomas (Wenatchee, WA) have signed letters of intent. Leblanc with Viterbo University and Thomas with Lindenwood University.

The 6-foot, 200-pound LeBlanc, from River Valley H.S. in Yuba City, California, has made six appearances and two starts for the Roadrunners this 2022 season, in his only season in a Roadrunners uniform, tossing 11 innings with ten strikeouts.

The 6-foot 2, 175-pound Thomas, from Wenatchee, Washington, has played in 26 of 32 games for the Roadrunners this 2022 season, in his only season in a Roadrunners uniform. He is currently hitting .310, with a .437 on base percentage and three doubles and a triple with 14 runs batted in.

Viterbo University is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, which sits right on banks of the Mississippi River and is about 145 miles southeast of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The VU V-Hawks play in the Viterbo Outdoor Athletic Complex and the team is coached by head coach, Brian Lewis, in his 6th year with the V-Hawks. In the 2022 season, the V-Hawks currently have an 11-26 overall record, with a 3-13 record in Conference play. VU is in the North Star Athletic Association of NAIA.

Lindenwood University is located in St. Charles, Missouri, which sits right on banks of the Missouri River and about 25 miles northwest of Saint Louis, Missouri. The LU Lions play at the Lou Brock Sports Complex and the team is coached by head coach, Doug Bletcher, in his 15th year with the Lions. In the 2022 season, the Lions currently have an 19-14 overall record, with an 8-4 record in Conference play. LU is in the Great Lakes Valley Conference of NCAA-D2, but will begin a transition to NCAA-D1 in July 2022 as a new member of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC).
