Jon Tessier
Assistant pitching coach
Born in Lemoore, California, and raised in Florida and San Diego, Jon is currently the Roadrunner’s Assistant Pitching Coach, for the 2023-2024 season. He is also the Assistant Baseball Coach for the California Post Graduate Baseball Program.
Jon interned in Ballpark Operations for the Palm Springs Power and Palm Springs Collegiate League. He also has experience in college athletic recruiting with The Athletic Academy and SportsForce Baseball.
A native of San Diego, Jon graduated from Coronado High School. In his junior year, Jon was able to close out the CIF Division III Championship game. Jon went on to play collegiate baseball at Eastern Nazarene College (NCAA D3) in Quincy, MA, where he led the Lions pitching staff to two consecutive New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) championship appearances in 2022 and 2023. Jon earned multiple honors, including All-Conference, and Academic All-Conference for all four seasons. He also earned the first victory over a nationally-ranked opponent in school history, contributing 9 complete innings in a 7-1 victory. Jon earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and Business Administration from Eastern Nazarene College.
