COD Football sophomore linebacker Austin Holt (Palatka, FL) was awarded the Week Three SCFA American Conference Mountain Division Defensive Player of the Week award and the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference's (PCAC) Male Athlete of the Week for the week of September 18th.

This is the second season of competition in the PCAC for COD.

According to the release, issued by PCAC Sports Information Director, Tom Saxe, "recorded nine tackles (seven solo), including a sack for 10 yards and three tackles for loss for 29 yards as COD turned back West Los Angeles 24-15. He also forced a fumble and recovered a fumble for the Roadrunners."

Freshman quarterback Noah Shoeman (Murray, UT) and freshman kicker and punter Luis Castellanos (Cathedral City H.S.) were honorable mention selections for the Week Three SCFA American Conference Mountain Division Player of the Week award.

The next game for the Roadrunners will be this Saturday, September 23, at Antelope Valley College to take on the Marauders at 6 p.m.
