COD Football: Shoeman wins PCAC & SCFA Awards

COD Football freshman quarterback Noah Shoeman (Murray, UT) was awarded the Week Four SCFA American Conference Mountain Division Offensive Player of the Week award and the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference's (PCAC) Male Athlete of the Week for the week of September 25th.

This is the second season of competition in the PCAC for COD.

According to the release, issued by PCAC Sports Information Director, Tom Saxe, "Shoeman led the Roadrunners to their second straight win as he completed 40-of-71 pass attempts for 492 yards and four touchdowns as COD defeated Antelope Valley in three overtimes 56-50. Two of Shoeman's touchdown completions went to Franklin Miller. His passing performance helped the Roadrunners roll up 690 yards of total offense"

This Saturday is the Roadrunners last non-Conference game has them at home against the Santa Barbara City Vaqueros on September 30th at 6 p.m. The Roadrunners are looking to "reverse the curse" against the Vaqueros, as Desert is 0-6 all-time against Santa Barbara City.
