COD Men's Golf demolished the field hosting the third Conference event of the season, with three players racking up their lowest scores of the season, as the team finished 1st with Yuo Torii collecting a career low, 2-under 70 for a 1st place tie individual finish for the event.

The Roadrunners sent six participants to ninth event of the 2024 season, third event in Orange Empire Conference-Inland Division play, which was hosted at the historic Bermuda Dunes Country Club in Bermuda Dunes. Desert would finish with 378 points, putting them in 1st place, 17-strokes ahead of the Riverside City Tigers.

Sophomore Yuo Torii (Montverde (FL) Montverde Academy) led the way for the Roadrunners, shooting his best score of his career in a Roadrunners polo shirt, a 2-under 70 and finishing tied for 1st individually at the event. Sophomore Ryln Hadley, Jr. (Palm Desert H.S.) clobbered his previous season low by five strokes, shooting an even par 72 and sophomore Se Min Song (Haeundae-gu (KOR) Changwon Nam) tied a season low, by shooting a 4-over 76. Sophomore Tyler Cunningham-Watson (Palm Desert H.S.) shot his second-best score of the season with a 7-over 79 and freshman Jacob Stacey (Twentynine Palms H.S.) shot a 9-over 81. Freshman Jayson Bittner (Rancho Mirage H.S.) wrapped up the afternoon for the Roadrunners shooting a 94.

COD will make their next appearance at Costa Mesa Country Club - Los Lagos Course in Costa Mesa on Wednesday, March 27 at 11a as they continue Orange Empire Conference - Inland Division play.
