COD Men’s Soccer: Felix signs letter with Cal State San Bernardino

COD Men's Soccer midfielder Ramon Felix (Thermal Coachella Valley) has signed a letter of intent with Cal State San Bernardino.

Felix, from Coachella Valley H.S. in Thermal, was named to the South All-Region Team by the California Community College Soccer Coaches Association (CCCSCA) and was also named First team All-Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC). The 5-foot 8, 150-pound sophomore played in 19 of 21 games for Desert, starting 17 of them. Felix finished second on the team in goals, with 8 and tied for first on the team in assists, with 9. He had a "hat trick" at home against Imperial Valley on September 7.

California State University, San Bernardino is located in San Bernardino, California, which is about 8 miles north of downtown San Bernardino and about 75 miles northwest of College of the Desert. The CSUSB Coyotes play at Premier Field and the team is coached by head coach, Josh Hill, in his 2nd year with the Coyotes. In the 2021 season, the Coyotes concluded the year with a 10-5-3 overall record, with a 7-2-2 record in Conference play, finishing the season in 4th place. CSUSB is in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) of NCAA – Division II.
