COD (6-0; 6-0) grabbed their 59th consecutive Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) win as the Roadrunners ran past the El Camino Warriors of Torrance (1-9; 1-5), 7-2.

The Warriors only showed up with four players for the match, giving Desert 3-points before the first ball was even served. In doubles play, the 1's team of sophomore Gerardo Dominguez (Thermal Coachella Valley) and sophomore Ian Rabtsevich (Minsk (BLR) Gymnasium 30) won easily, 8-1. The 2's team of sophomore Ethan Auger (Ottawa (ON) Nepean) and freshman Travis Pimentel (Indio Shadow Hills) took down the Warriors in a lopsided match, 8-0. El Camino did not have a fifth or a sixth available, so the Roadrunners won the third doubles match in a walkover.

In singles play, Rabtsevich and Pimentel each won their matches easily. Freshman Nathaniel Jimenez (Beaumont H.S.) and freshman Alexandro Beltran (Indio H.S.) each won their matches in walkovers.

The next match for the Roadrunners will be on March 12th at 2p, where they will continue Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) play by traveling to the San Diego City Knights.

College of the Desert defeated El Camino College, 7-2 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference play at the College of the Desert in Palm Desert.
