Goal Keeper Coach
Roberto Diaz is extremely happy to be part of the coaching staff for the College of the Desert Roadrunners women’s soccer team. He brings a positive attitude and hard work ethic. Coach Diaz’s resume brings a history of growth at every past position he has ever held.
Coach Diaz grew up in the city of Indio and played for the Rajahs of Indio H.S. as a varsity soccer player, as a junior and senior. He attended College of the Desert for a year and played as a goalkeeper for the men’s team. He joined the US Marine Corps where he played for the All-Marine team and did several tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Coach Diaz, aside from coaching the Roadrunners goalkeepers, he also owns Rudo Goalkeeping, a local successful goalkeeper Academy focusing on developing goalkeepers from grassroots to college level.
