COD Women’s Cross Country has two runners grab top 10 finishes at Panthers Invite
COD had two runners participate in the first event of the 2022 season at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga for the Panthers Cross Country Invitational, where Desert participants finished in 8th and 9th place on the 5-kilometer course.
Grabbing the top spot for Desert in Rancho Cucamonga was freshman Angelina Iniguez (Cathedral City H.S.), collecting 8th place with a time of 23:11.3.
Also finishing in the top 10 was sophomore Heather Hinton (La Quinta H.S.), collecting 9th place with a time of 23:23.4.
The next event for Desert is at the Mt. SAC Invitational at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut on October 14th at 10 a.m.
