COD Women’s Cross Country wraps up season at State Championship

COD sent two runners to the CCCAA State Championships in Fresno, where the Roadrunners finished 90th and 95th.

Desert had two runners participate in the fifth and final event of the season Woodward Park in Fresno for the CCCAA State Championships, where Desert participants finished in 90th and 95th place on the 5-kilometer course.

Grabbing the top spot for Desert in Fresno was freshman Angelina Iniguez (Cathedral City H.S.), collecting 90th place with a time of 21:34.7. Right on her heals, was her teammate, sophomore Heather Hinton (La Quinta H.S.), collecting 95th place with a time of 21:38.9.
