Johnson and Lafleur Earn October Student Athletes of the Month

Congratulations to Dalaina Johnson from women's soccer and Greyson Lafleur from football for earning the College of the Desert October Student Athletes of the Month honors.

Women's Soccer sophomore forward Dalaina Johnson from Cathedral City H.S., started all eight games during the month of October. The impact player grabbed six of her nine goals on the season during the month of October, including the game winner at San Bernardino Valley on October 17th.

Football sophomore linebacker Greyson Lafleur from Glacier Peak H.S. in Snohomish, Washington, has been far and away the leading tackler all season for the Roadrunners. With only two games in the entire month of October, Lafleur made the most of it, collecting 16 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss and a forced fumble. He had his second best tackle total of the season, 13 total tackles, in a 49-21 rout on the road at Victor Valley on October 28th.
