COD (3-17) celebrated Sophomore Day by getting back into the win column and avenging an earlier season loss to the club team from the Los Angeles Harbor Seahawks of Wilmington (3-9), 4-1.

The bounce back game is just what the Roadrunners needed heading into the last pair of head-to-head games prior to the beginning of the South Coast Conference Pairs Tournament, set to begin on April 18 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. With revenge on their minds, Desert hoped to turn the tide and a match that started out slow, but turned into a lopsided event later. The Roadrunners would only drop one pairs match, which was at the 3s, but that was due to a Desert injury, forcing the pairs team to retire, leading to a Seahawks forfeit win.

The next match-up for the Roadrunners will be the final regular season match-up of the season on April 11 beginning at 10a. Desert will be traveling to Rosie's Dog Beach in Long Beach to take on the Cerritos Falcons (13-7; 2-4) and the El Camino Warriors of Torrance (10-10; 3-3).
