COD Women’s Golf: Urquidez shoots lowest score of season
COD had two golfers participate in the seventh event of the 2024 season at Cottonwood Golf Course in El Cajon in the sixth event on the Orange Empire Conference schedule, where the Desert participants finished in 14th and 21st place on the par 72 course.
Grabbing the top spot for Desert in El Cajon was sophomore Kayla Speer (Yucaipa H.S.), collecting a two-way tie for 14th place, shooting a 90.
Finishing 21st was freshman Myah Urquidez (Banning H.S.), shooting one-stroke better than her previous season low, collecting a 96.
The next event for Desert will be at Fullerton Golf Club in Fullerton, as the Roadrunners continue OEC play on Wednesday, October 16th at 11 a.m.
