COD (4-1; 3-1) continued to roll in South Coast Conference play as they knocked off the winless El Camino Warriors of Torrance (0-8; 0-4), 5-4.

In doubles play, the 1's team of freshman Trinity Miller (Palm Desert Xavier College Prep) and freshman Elyse Woodforde (Palm Desert H.S.) won easily, 8-3. The 3's team of freshman Mia Castillo (Indio H.S.) and freshman Oriana Ramirez (Indio H.S.) won a hard fought match, 8-5.

In singles play, wins were secured by Miller, Woodforde and freshman Zoe Lopez (Palm Desert H.S.).

The next contest for the Roadrunners will continue South Coast Conference (SCC) play by traveling to the Mt. San Antonio Mounties of Walnut, on Thursday, March 13, with the match beginning at 2p.

College of the Desert defeated El Camino College, 5-4 in South Coast Conference play at El Camino College in Torrance.
