COD Baseball: Nation signs letter with Colorado Christian

COD Baseball sophomore right handed relief pitcher and catcher Harrison Nation (Indio Shadow Hills) has signed a letter of intent with Colorado Christian University.

The 6-1, 195 pound catcher and pitcher, made six appearances all out of the bullpen, tossing seven and two thirds innings of work in the 2020 season for the Roadrunners, striking out eight. While Nation played his freshman season with Fullerton College, he had a solid sophomore tilt with the Roadrunners, as he was thrust into the catcher's role after a slew of injuries. As a catcher, Nation made four appearances, starting twice and grabbing four hits, two for extra bases.

Colorado Christian University is located in Lakewood, Colorado which is 8 miles west of Denver. The CCU Cougars play at Keli McGregor Field at All Star Park in Lakewood and the team is coached by 1st year head coach, Paul Koss. Prior to the 2020 season being concluded early, due to the NAIA abruptly cancelling all remaining games on March 13, 2020 to stem the COVID-19 virus outbreak, the Cougars were 0-4 in conference play, with an overall record of 4-10. CCU is in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) of the NCAA Division 2.
