COD Softball stuns with sweep of Rams, 9-8 & 14-12

COD (5-17; 3-7) had not one, but two come-from-behind wins in an IEAC double header sweep, the game had everything, walk-off hits and an inside-the-park grand slam, as the Roadrunners got back on track knocking off the Victor Valley Rams of Victorville (10-16; 1-6), 9-8 & 14-12.

COD (3-15; 1-5) loaded the bases with one out in the seventh then got a hit to right field by Rubi Borjas, as the Roadrunners snapped an 8-game losing streak with a come-from-behind win over the IEAC leading Mt. San Jacinto Eagles of Menifee (17-9; 8-2), 6-5.
COD Softball splits double header at Cougars, 7-5 & 13-5

COD (2-7) took the 4-hour drive north on the 5 Freeway to play a hard-fought game one and then grab a lopsided win in game two, as the Roadrunners collected a road split at the Taft Cougars (1-7), 7-5 and 13-5.

COD (1-5) finally broke through, grabbing their first win of the 2024 season on a walk-off hit in the bottom of the seventh, to give the home side a 6-5 win, then the Roadrunners were no-hit for six innings, falling to the Grossmont Griffins of La Mesa (1-12) in the nightcap, 1-0.
