Over the past 20 years, Tanner has had the opportunity to work in golf operations and management at the highest level while continuing his education in prominent areas.

Tanner played four years of award-winning golf at St. Cloud State University while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management. After internships with the PGA and USGA, Tanner continued his education with a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Canisius College, earning a 3.96 GPA along the way.

Since graduating, Tanner has worked with a number of golf entities, with roles ranging from Director of Operations to General Manager. These organizations and companies include The Minikahda Club, The Quarry at La Quinta, The First Tee, MacGregor Golf, College Athlete Advantage, and Links Players International.

In 2015, Tanner founded the Las Vegas Junior Golf Association and the Southern Nevada College Prep Tour, organizations that help junior golfers follow their passion and prepare them for the next steps.

When Tanner isn't working, he enjoys golfing and traveling with his wife, Crissie, and their dog, Stella.
